Oak Grove Staff

Program Director:

Ms. Reann

Hello! I’m so excited to start my new adventure! Let me tell you a little about myself. I am a momma, military spouse, and former small business owner. We just moved to the area after living in Germany for over 3 wonderful years. I owned a small bakery while we lived abroad, and had the time of my life traveling and trying new foods. Some of my passions and hobbies include cooking, collecting wooden toys from all over Europe, and raising my soon to be 16 year old and 3 year old. I have worked in Early Child Care and Education since my oldest was an Infant. We can say I spent so much time stopping by the center to check on her, that I was offered a position on the parent board before taking a leap into teaching. I have worked at some pretty amazing accredited centers along my journey, and gained a lot of valuable skills as both a parent and a teacher. With that said, I look forward to getting to know all of you!

Acorns Lead Teacher:

Ms. Cassidy

Hello, my name is Ms. Cassidy. I have a certificate in Early Childhood Education and am currently pursuing my CDA. I really enjoy working with kids, they always keep me on my toes. For fun I enjoy spending time with my 2 fur baby puppies or getting to spend time with my little brother Kyle. I used to be a lifeguard for a couple years and taught swimming lessons to children ages 3-10 and that has been my favorite job I have ever had. I look forward to continuing my journey at Oak Grove with the children and am beyond blessed to have the opportunity that I have to work with children and make an impact in their little lives!

Saplings Co-Lead Teachers:

Ms. Peyton

My name is Peyton Jaukkuri but you can call me Ms. Peyton! I will be Miss Bri’s assistant for the Saplings class! I just moved here from Blue Mound, IL. I recently got married and my husband is in the Army here at Fort Riley. In my free time I like to play with my mini goldendoodle Loki, travel, go on walks, watch softball, and cheer on the Kansas City Chiefs. I am currently studying to be a Radiologist Tech in the future. I have always loved being around kids! I loved when I got to babysit and play with my little cousins.  I am beyond excited with the fact that I get to be around kids and help them grow and learn!

Ms. Kacie

Hello! My name is Kacie Anderson. My husband is in the army and we recently moved here from San Antonio, TX, but I am originally from Martinsburg, WV. In my free time I like to take my fur babies, Dani, Freyja, and Ares, on walks. I love kayaking, reading, video games, hiking, and traveling! I’m so happy to be part of the Oak Grove team and enjoy every minute with the kids!

Acorns Assistant Teacher:

Mrs. Jen

Hi, my name is Mrs. Jen. I have fallen in love with all the kids and staff at Oak Grove School. I graduated from Kansas State University with a physics degree, but have spent the last several years as a stay at home mom to my two wonderful kiddos. My hobbies include crochet, painting, crafting with my Cricut, and doing yoga and aikido (a Japanese martial art). I look forward to watching all the kids here learn and grow and I'm really excited about the spring and summer time and all the fun we will have outside!
